KALAHARI is a modular programme with a special design. It has with no padded back cushions and very soft curved shapes inspired by the desert dunes. The combination options are endless, and totally different from what we currently have. Just like anything else at Fama, it has a hidden innovation, which does not affect the aesthetics and brings new features. We have designed an adjustable backrest system for two depths. As you all know, family members usually have different preferences and needs when it comes to seating. Even for the same person, the sofa is a piece which we use for different purposes, and there are certain activities which required more upright postures than others. Thank to this smart adjustable backrest system, it allows you to have two different depths in one sofa. A new extra-flat hidden mechanism created by Fama along with the new seat shapes, which offers new solutions to the market.

Our aim was to design a very light armchair, which could ergonomically adapt to the shape of the body. Pacific is a very special modular programme with an overwhelming personality. It consists of six platforms of different measures which you can add or remove backrests to in the blink of an eye with a really smart fixing system. Therefore, a footstool platform can be converted into a module or a sofa in less than a minute, without screws or tools. You can convert two independent conventional sofas into a modern chaise longue opened on both sides.

Calessi is a re-styling of our model Calisto, a contemporary model, elegant and very comfortable. With no aesthetic changes since the design remains updated, we have only added a few elements to improve the offer of Calisto. Just as its predecessor, Calessi has two modules with the arm assembled, and we have added another type of arm in addition to the three types of Calisto. We have also added the option of a charging system via USB port on the arm (available in the arms “S” and “X”). A new fibre headrest has been created to improve the comfort, and finally, the composition of the seat interiors has been changed, for a smooth and wrinkle-free sitting.

AVALON.

Avalon is a new reclining modular sofa which runs out from the conventional design of sofas with a low folding back. Contrary to the majority trends imposed by the market, we wanted to create a generously sized backrest that we equipped with a new button effect inspired by the diamond- shaped buttoned backs of the 70s. This backrest, along with the design of the arms and the 12 cm leg, make Avalon a different model with a great personality. But perhaps its main Feature is the comfort; it is difficult, if not impossible, to find a relax sofa in the market that offers greater comfort than Avalon, comfortable both for very tall people and for shorter people. With the relining mechanism open, it almost becomes a large bed.

Kylian is Komba’s alter ego; it shares the seat and arm design, but with a bigger backrest that adopts a smooth and curved line that provides a more traditional look. The combination of the lumbar cushion and the weighted headrest provides an incredible comfort. Komba and Kylian belong to the same family as our model Kangou.

With only 82 cm of depth, it becomes the perfect model for small apartments or for rooms with small spaces. Its flexible back provides great comfort. In the modular version, we can change the chaise longue from left to right easily, since it is formed by a single module plus a footstool.
